NCA Nationals – 2022 Go Be Great Winners!

The NCA High School Nationals cheerleading competition showcases the athletic skill of teams from across the country each year. While most of the awards are given based on scores given regarding their routine’s difficulty and execution, there is another award with a special place in our hearts! The Go Be Great award is presented to teams and individuals that exhibit exceptional service and leadership

While at camp coaches had the opportunity to nominate their teams and athletes for the coveted award and the winners were later announced at the the national competition’s award ceremony. The four categories of consideration were Crowd Leader, Ambassador, Spirit Raiser, Athlete, Entertainer, and Leader.

There were seven finalists considered at this year’s competition while only four teams took home a plaque. To highlight their achievement, a representative from each winning team was interviewed on stage to explain the unique impact each of their community service projects provides.
